Shawna is very professional and kind hearted to her clients. My parents sold their home that they had lived in for 48 years and she made the whole process easy for them. They struggled with the idea of selling their first home that they raised their children in and Shawna helped them every step of the way to ease the transition. She explained the steps they needed to take in and what order, she showed empathy for the emotional toll this was taking, and she had compassion for them as seniors who were moving from the only home they'd ever owned. I had a hard time getting my parents to agree to sell their home even though it was time, and Shawna immediately jumped into action when they finally agreed. She came to the house and looked it over, gave them a ballpark on what they could realistically expect, and explained the process to them clearly. Once they saw numbers on paper and had her explain the process they handled it much better. Shawna was wonderful at letting my parents know if at any point they were unhappy or uncomfortable that they could hit the pause button. She made sure to expedite the process for them so it was short term pain but ultimately over quickly. We got the house ready for pictures, she had everything all ready to go before the listing went live, they had a few showings and an open house in one weekend, and by the end of that weekend they had reasonable offers and all they had to do was pick one. One long weekend and that was it. The process was done. My parents were not keen on the idea of multiple days of showings and long drawn out process so she made as streamlined and easy as she could so they didn't have to live in limbo for too long. She even helped them move furniture around so the house was more appealing to the current market of buyers. She offered to help in any way that needed even though that was going above and beyond. Her main goal is to make the client happy and she will go at their speed if that's what they need for an easy transition. My parents look at Shawna as a friend who helped them move in to a less stressful time int their life. Shawna helped them see the end goal in a kind and compassionate way. My sister's and I don't have to worry about our parents aging in their house with their advancing age anymore because Shawna knew just how to get the job done. The burden and stress is gone for our whole family. We are forever greatful to Shawna for her help. She still checks in to see how they're liking their new apartment and if they're doing okay. She hasn't forgotten about them and it is really lovely to know she cares that much about her clients.
